Research Center are fifth type of upgrades unlocked in CIFI - Cell: Idle Factory Incremental. They are located in Upgrade Console

Research Center are unlocked on The Koios purchase.

Inside the Research Center menu you will find research upgrades and Research Catalogue

Research Center affect most of the game mechanics through the Research Catalogue upgrades, including Cells,Mod Points, Shards, Research Points, Academy Points, Ticks speed, AD Tokens cap and exponent, Generators and more.

Research Center Mechanics

1. Every time the Study bar fills up, you'll gain Research Points
2. How many Research Points you get, depends on your Bio-Scientists, Equipment and Quantum Tech. These cost Cells to upgrade
3. Visit Research Catalogue to view available researches, activate new researches, or pause researches
4. A research will usually take quite a while to complete, but will award huge bonuses, that persist through Loop Resets
5. Remember to spend your Research Points before looping!

Research Center Tips

• Try to buy The Koios as soon as possible after Prestige. That will allow you to start accumulating Studies early on and get The Koios Rank Points.
